Originally from India, in 2012 Dr. Neelkamal Duggal completed her Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Panjab University, Chandigarh, India, before relocating to Canada to pursue further education and professional opportunities.
Since arriving in Canada, Dr. Duggal earned a Master’s degree in Global Health and Human Services in 2014. She completed this degree while working full-time for four years as a Certified Dental Assistant, gaining her valuable hands-on experience and enhancing her dental skills.
Dr. Duggal then earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Toronto in 2020. During her time at the university, Dr. Duggal was one of the eight students selected for the Summer Emergency program, which provided her great insights into all levels of patient care.
Dr. Duggal joined NOVO Dental Centre in July 2022 and is passionate about all aspects of dentistry and strives to build strong relationships with her patients. She believes in having open communication with her patients so that they are fully informed and involved in their treatment decisions. Dr. Duggal makes it her goal to ensure patients of all ages have the best possible experience while in her care.
Wanting to continuously expand her knowledge, Dr. Duggal regularly attends dental conferences and takes continuing education courses. Dr. Duggal has completed the AAID Vancouver MaxiCourse and is an active member of several professional organizations, including the Canadian Dental Association, American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID), Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), Women in Dentistry, Toronto (WID), and Spear Education.
In her free time, Dr. Duggal enjoys a variety of hobbies that keep her active and engaged, including hiking, yoga, and playing badminton. She is also a talented artist who enjoys crocheting beanies, tin embossing, pottery, painting, and sculpting. Overall, Dr. Duggal is a well-rounded individual who is deeply committed to providing high-quality dental care to her patients and constantly seeks to improve herself both professionally and personally.
