Dr. Abrar Ahmed attended the University of British Columbia for his undergraduate studies. In 2012, he received his Bachelor of Science (with distinction) in Pharmacology. After completing his high school and undergraduate studies in British Columbia, he ventured to Ontario to pursue a degree in dentistry at the Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry of Western University. In 2016, he graduated with the Doctor of the Dental Surgery degree and decided to stay in Ontario to practice dentistry. Dr Ahmed practiced dentistry in Wallaceburg and Point Edward for the next 3 years until he realized how much he missed his family and chose to move back to BC.
Dr Ahmed joined our NOVO Team in November, 2019 and like Dr. Provo has very strong ethics and core values. He provides a wide range of treatments while always keeping in mind client centered care. Dr Ahmed pays attention to what his patients want and tailors their treatment to address their chief concerns.
Dr. Ahmed’s clinical scope of practice includes mostly restorative dentistry and educating patients on how to better take care of their oral health. Dr. Ahmed is an advocate of preventative dentistry and likes to stay well informed with emerging dental technologies to better serve his patients.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Ahmed is an avid soccer fan and has travelled to Europe to watch some of his favourite players. Whenever he gets an opportunity, he likes to travel to different countries and indulge in their unique cuisines. To date Dr. Ahmed has been to 22 different countries and hopes that his list continues to grow!
